The Queen visits Castle Douglas

In a recent visit to the region the Queen visited Wallets Marts where a display of cattle and produce from the Food Town was on show.

It was very fitting that our successful show cow this year Halmyre Urr Princess Royal 103 was involved in the show of cattle where was joined by a black, Dun and Belted Galloway.

Our Glen Urr Ice Cream was on display in the Food Town marquee and Jane got to meet the Queen in person.

We were also delighted to have our Lemon Curd ice cream on the menu for the Royal visit lunch at the Easterbrook Hall.

Interbreed success at Royal Highland Show

Our show team had a successful show at the Royal Highland, the highlight was being part of the champion interbreed group of four. Halmyre Urr Princess Royal 103 was part of the team with Calderglen Raffia, Brieryside Centurian Cherry and Brieryside Princess 120.
